"If I could give Mougin roofing 10 stars, I would! For the past 2 1/2 years Josh has meticulously maintained our 104yr old tile roof. It came to us with lots of broken tile, thus lots of leaks. Every single leak we had, has been fixed perfectly! Not a single leak has returned! When we purchased the home he repaired the fireplace flashing and large sections of missing felt paper that over the years has worn away with the leaks. He replaced the tin valleys from decades ago with copper valleys, completely eliminating the leaks there. MOST IMPORTANTLY HE IS SKILLED WITH WORKING WITH TERRACOTTA TILE ROOFS! You can show him where the leak is in the house and he can find where it's coming in. We have interlocking tiles, so the leaks aren't always directly above the spot in the ceiling. Sometimes it's a broken channel 10 tiles up. Often times you cannot see which tile is broken. With tiles its important to know how to walk on them too, making sure to not crack them! Critical with interlocking grooves! He has fixed over 14 sections with broken tiles and eroded underlayment, multiple sections with fully rotted through decking, yards of flashing, a rubber roof on our garage, missing and loose hip tiles, gutter issues etc. He is prompt! He works with great attention to detail! He is very clean and has never left so much as a nail behind!!! When he cleaned out our gutters, because we couldn't find anyone who was comfortable with a tile roof, he even took the bags with him! His pricing is honest and AMAZING considering the skillset needed to work with tile correctly. As those people who learn to do repairs on our own home because of lack of trust for contractors, I can say that is not a problem with Josh. He has proven to be HONEST, HARDWORKING, SKILLED and TRUSTWORTHY! He is always professional and friendly. I would trust him with the keys to my house! We are at a point that the majority of our underlayment is worn away from its age. Josh has worked with us to spot fix every single issue till we can replace all of the underlayment. For the size of our roof, it's a massive and expensive project. In comparison to outrageous quotes by some other companies I can go as far as to say that the quote we received was very reasonable! Still less then the cost to replace the tile with cheap shingles. UPDATE: We had Josh and his awesome team come and replace the underlayment on 3 Large sections of our roof. We had contemplated buying new tile, after installing new underlayment and replacing the tiles they power washed them, they look brand new! After the massive amount of snow we had this February, the roof in the area with new underlayment had no issues. The area of the roof that has the original underlayment had numerous ice dams. The massive area of roof that was redone, was done meticulously! With just a handful or salvaged tiles available, they were able to reuse all of the tiles. They were even able to utilize some of the broken tiles by cutting them into starter tiles! The Copper Valley's are Stunning! The metalwork is perfect! The quality of the materials used is top notch! The team was very clean! Nothing was left behind, nothing was damaged. They even worked with the Masons to be able to repair our massive chimney with the tiles off."
